Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Caller ID: Block Spam Calls mobile application ("the App") distributed on Google Play (package com.traceo.callerid.message.tracker). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License grant

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Android devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, and subject to these Terms and to the Google Play Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Price and in-app purchases

The App is provided free of charge. Ad-supported versions of the App display advertising. The App does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. If this changes in the future, applicable purchase terms will be presented to you before any charge and processed through Google Play Billing.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except where permitted by law.
• Resell, rent, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose, including unlawful monitoring of others' communications.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its related services.
• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the App.

You are responsible for using the App in compliance with all applicable laws, including laws governing call identification and access to communications.

5. Your content and data

The App processes notification and call information to provide its features. Some data — such as the phone numbers you look up and, if you enable contact contribution, your contacts — is sent to our caller-ID service, while other processing happens on your device, all as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the data on your device and for maintaining your own backups. The App does not guarantee the recovery or permanent storage of notifications or call history.

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that caller identification, spam flagging, or notification features will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or error-free. Caller identification depends on data available through supported Android APIs and is not official information from telecom providers.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Because the App is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed USD 10.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms or of any applicable law.

9. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. Your license terminates automatically if you breach these Terms. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the App. Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will cease.

10. Google Play distribution

This agreement is between you and the developer of the App only, and not with Google. Google is not responsible for the App or its content. Your use of the App must comply with the Google Play Terms of Service, and your data is handled in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. You also agree to comply with all applicable third-party terms and with U.S. and other applicable export-control laws when using the App.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable at the developer's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are unaffected.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through in-app notice or Google Play release notes. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
